Carl James Pettefer (born March 22, 1981) is an English footballer, currently without a club having been released from Oxford United. He joined Oxford United in the summer of 2006 and quickly established himself a place in the starting 11. He soon earned a reputation as a hard working player and is a favourite amongst the fans. In January 2008, he was transfer listed by manager Darren Patterson subsequently being released on the 29th of April 2008.
