Carl H. Stevens Jr. (1929-2008) was an American clergyman and author who was the founder of The Bible Speaks, Stevens School of the Bible, Greater Grace World Outreach, Maryland Bible College & Seminary and was an early pioneer of radio evangelism as the host of the Christian Radio Broadcast Telephone Time.
Stevens became a center figure in multiple controversies including two major scandals. One evolved into a landmark legal case regarding undo influence of an heiress to the Dayton Hudson fortune, Elizabeth (Betsy) Dovydenas. He was also involved in a set of controversies between 2003-2005 that escalate to a separation of many of the affiliated congregations of Greater Grace World Outreach.
