Carl Edwin Berg (born 1938) is a real estate investor and venture capitalist who has been included in Forbes Magazine's list of the 400 richest people in America numerous times. At the time the 2007 list was released, his net worth was estimated at $1.5 billion. He is married with one daughter and resides in Atherton, California.
Berg is the owner of Mission West Properties Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) and one of the principals of Berg & Berg Enterprises, LLC. His technology investments include the consulting firm International Network Services, which he bought from Lucent Technologies in 2002.
Mr. Berg is also a major investor and board member of Focus Enhancements.
Berg is a former partner of John Sobrato.
