Cariniana (Jequitiba) is a genus of trees in the family Lecythidaceae, native to South America. Many are of importance for timber production.[1]
It contains the following species:
- Cariniana ianeirensis
- Cariniana integrifolia
- Cariniana kuhlmannii
- Cariniana legalis
- Cariniana pachyantha
- Cariniana pauciramosa
- Cariniana penduliflora
- Cariniana pyriformis
