Carin Greenberg

Carin Greenberg Baker or Carin Greenberg is a Daytime Emmy Award winning creator, writer, story editor and producer of children’s entertainment. She was also nominated eight times for the Daytime Emmy. Greenberg recently completed her first season as executive producer of the animated TV series, Growing Up Creepie, which she co-created. The series, currently airing on Discovery Kids and, soon, on Nickelodeon International, has been nominated for a Daytime Emmy for Special Class Animated Program. Previously, Greenberg was supervising producer of the animated series ToddWorld for Discovery Kids, which she also developed for television (3 Emmy nominations for Outstanding Children’s Animated Series & 2 Humanitas nominations).

Executive story editor for Dragon Tales on Public Broadcasting Service, HBO’s Harold and the Purple Crayon (Humanitas nomination) and A Little Curious, Disney’s 101 Dalmatians: the series (2 Emmy nominations for Outstanding Children’s Animated Series), Nickelodeon’s Allegra’s Window and Gullah Gullah Island, and Ghostwriter on PBS (Writers Guild Award winner). Greenberg has also written episodes for numerous series including Between the Lions (Emmy winner & additional Emmy nomination), Cosmic Quantum Ray, Wonder Pets, Stanley, I Spy, and Dora the Explorer, among many others. In addition, Greenberg scripted three Dragon Tales Live stage shows which have toured the United States. Prior to her work in television, Greenberg authored 26 books for children, including her seven-book Karate Club series for Penguin USA which sold over 200,000 copies. Carin is a graduate of Yale University with a B.A. in Russian & East European studies.
