"Caribbean Queen (No More Love on the Run)" is a song by Billy Ocean. Co-written and co-produced by Robert John "Mutt" Lange, it climbed to number one in 1984 in the U.S. and number six in the UK.
The song was recorded under different titles for different parts of the world - resulting in versions such as "European Queen" and "African Queen." (The U.S. video for "Caribbean Queen" features an accidental shot of Billy Ocean in front of a sign that reads, "European Queen.")
"Caribbean Queen" is mentioned repeatedly on the CW sitcom, Everybody Hates Chris, as the favorite song of Tania, Chris's Little Sister.
"Caribbean Queen (No More Love on the Run)" is used in a sketch on the HBO series Mr. Show. A hate group plays the song from a van in the desert as a terrorist act.
"Caribbean Queen" is sung by Psych's two main characters, Shawn Spencer (James Roday) and Burton "Gus" Guster (Dule Hill) in an out-take at the end of the episode "Bounty Hunters!" (Season 2, Episode 9).
