Carencro High School

Carencro High School is a Lafayette Parish high school located in Carencro, Louisiana with a Lafayette postal code. Carencro High School is home of the 1992 State Football Champions and the 2005-2006 Boys' State Soccer Champions. The High School is known for its Academy of Information Technology (AOIT). 2007 Boys Soccer Team were also District Champions. 2008 Boys and Girls Soccer Teams were second in district.

In 2007, it held its first yearly "Academy Awards," with a pun on "Academy" of Information Technology. Numerous Academy students turned in videos they had created. There were several great movies, with such great entries as 'Bishop,' 'Agrny,' 'The Most Dangerous Game,' and 'Fun With A Wheelchair.'
