CareSouth Health System Inc., also known as CareSouth Health or CareSouth, is a private American healthcare company that provides a range of home care services and health insurance. It is one of the largest providers of home care service in the country.

CareSouth was founded in November 1, 1995 in Augusta, Georgia by the Central Georgia Health System. [1] In 1998, the company was acquired by Capitol Partners, LLC from the Central Georgia Health System, enabling CareSouth to expand its presence. In January 2003, CareSouth partnered with Horizon Homecare and uses its software to improve business management effiency. Throughout 2002 throughout 2006, CareSouth bought out 5 different companies in California, Tennessee, Texas, Alabama, and North Carolina. [1] The company currently owns 14 certified home care agencies and operates 32 branches which generates an estimates $70 million in revenue per year. [1]
