Cardinia Road is a proposed railway station on the Pakenham railway line in Melbourne, Victoria. The station is to be located east of Cardinia Road in Pakenham, with grade separation of the road also proposed.[2]
The station is to include:[2]
- bays for buses and taxis;
- a park and ride facility;
- two platforms of 160m in length;
- shelters and seating for passengers;
- ticket machines;
- displays for timetables and information;
- CCTV;
- bicycle facilities; and
- covered walkways, ramps and stairs.
The State Government is currently assessing the station's plans and facilities, with an outcome due in 2008, and the station proposed to be built between 2011 and 2016.[2]
