Cardiff is a railway station located in Cardiff, New South Wales, Australia on the Newcastle & Central Coast Line. The original Cardiff station opened on 14 March 1889, and the station at the present site has been operating since 8 June 1902.[1] The station has two platforms. The station is the closest to the factory of EDi Rail who have made a lot of Cityrail's trains. Please travel in the rear 6 carriages if using the station.

The long distance functions of this station are proposed to be replaced by a new station at Glendale, closer to Sydney.
