Carcraft

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Carcraft is an independent group of used car hypermarkets established in 1951 in Rochdale, Lancashire, England. Carcraft was founded by Frank McKee and was bought out by Noel and Darren McKee, his sons, in a £50 million deal backed by the Royal Bank of Scotland's Development Capital arm.

In 1998 Carcraft paid £10 million for a car supermarket from Car Group while Car Group was in receivership.

In December 2005 Carcraft became the first independent second-hand vehicle retailer [1] to create and found a contract hire car company.
