Caravonica is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Imperia in the Italian region Liguria, located about 90 km southwest of Genoa and about 12 km northwest of Imperia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 301 and an area of 4.9 km².[1]

Caravonica borders the following municipalities: Borgomaro, Cesio, Chiusanico, and Pieve di Teco.
