Caravelle Hotel

Caravelle Hotel is a five-star hotel in downtown Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This hotel was famous in Vietnam War for being the bloodshed explosion on 25 August 1964 by Saigon Special Force (Vietnamese language: Biệt động Sài Gòn) aimed at United States army officers in the hotel. The attack killed around 100 persons and was a breaking news then. Today, this hotel is considered one of the luxurious in the country and recognized by “Travel & Leisure” magazine.
