Cara Lockwood is an American novelist and the bestselling author of nine novels from Mesquite, Texas.
She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania as an English studies major.
Her novels most identify with the multicultural Asian chick lit genre. Her most successful book to date has been I Do (But I Don't) which was made into a Lifetime Original Movie starring Denise Richards and Dean Cain.
She is currently writing the Bard Academy teen series, updating her favorite classics. Titles to date include Wuthering High, Scarlet Letterman, and "Moby Clique".
All her books are published by Downtown Press and MTV Books.
