CARE diagnostica is an Austrian health-care company which operates world-wide. It is privately held. The headquarters are located in Moellersdorf near Vienna.
Founded in 1982 by Johann Scheuringer, PhD, the company was early on known for producing reagents for clinical chemistry. In the 1980ies it developed the fecal occult blood test hemoCARE. Its immunochromatographic successor immoCARE was introduced in 1996. Its new helicoCARE direct Helicobacter pylori stool test has been introduced worldwide in 2006. It has also produced various health care and women's health tests for home use. It holds several patents.
