I just did a minor revision on the Saw, Amanda Young, character page and I thought I was logged in at the time and I checked later and realized I wasn't and its recorded my IP address, I tried after i'd logged it to undo the change I made to the page and redo it under my username and unfortunately that hasn't erased my IP address as I was hopeing it would. I was just wondering if I run any risk of being hacked with IP address visible like that and is there anyway you can possibly delete that entry for me so people can't see my IP

Generally individual versions of a page are only deleted under extreme circumstances, such as for legal reasons. However, I doubt that there is any real risk of you getting hacked because your IP address appeared on Wikipedia. Hundreds or possibly thousands of IP addresses appear on Wikipedia every day. Unless you have personal identifying information linked to that edit somehow, I wouldn't worry about it. - Revolving Bugbear 19:17, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
