Thank you for your support in my recent successful RfA.--Anthony.bradbury 10:14, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] my RfA
- Thanks for the support position. However, I've decided to withdraw my acceptance because of real WP:CIVIL concerns. I will try again later when I've proven to myself and others that my anger will no longer interfere with my abilities as a Wikipedia editor. Thanks again, and I'll see you around here shortly. :) JuJube 04:14, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipedia:WikiProject Strategy games
Hello Captain panda.
WikiProject Strategy games finished it's first collaboration on Risk (game). We have voted for possible candidates for the next collaboration, and three finalists have been selected:
If possible, please vote here on which of these articles to collaborate on. Thank you.
[edit] Majorly's RfB
Hey Captain panda, thanks for your kind support in my RfB. Sadly, it didn't pass, but I appreciate the support, and I do intend to run again eventually. I am humbled you think there are few who could do a better job than me as a 'crat, it means a lot to me. See you around! Majorly (o rly?) 03:30, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Christian view of Muhammad
I have suggested on the talk page that the above article be renamed as "Medieval Christian view of Muhammad". As you have commented on the article before, you may care to respond to this proposal. Note that a separate article on Non-Islamic views has been proposed for deletion. - Fayenatic london (talk) 13:03, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Danny's RFA
Remember what we were talking about on my editor review? Supporting Danny is basically like supporting Jimbo. He was basically Jimbo's enforcer. Just H 15:31, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
- I have to say i'm disappointed, even though I still respect you and thank you for your comment. If I am in the wrong project, then that means there is no hope for this project, and I don't think you mean that. What i'm saying isn't about democracy(the democratization of Wikipedia would be a bad idea), but rather consensus, which is supposed to be a core policy of Wikipedia, and something Danny has disregarded on numerous occasions where he has found it convenient.
Approving him for adminship is basically saying that the policies are just a facade and the real rule of law on Wikipedia is whatever you can get away with. Just H 20:23, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] RfA
Thank you for the support vote in my recent RfA. Although it wasn't successful I appreciate your vote of confidence. Anyway, I'm continuing on with editing Pacific War-related articles and hopefully you'll see several of them on the FA nominations page in the future. Cla68 22:59, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] re:Problem with User:The Thadman/Give Back Our Membership
You have posted a page declaring that it is wrong that normal people are not members of Wikimedia and thus cannot vote on Wikipedia issues. I would point out WP:NOT#DEMOCRACY and Voting is evil in response to this. I am uncertain that you are doing the right thing with this page and petition. Captain panda In vino veritas 01:59, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
- I appreciate your note. Yes, Wikipedia is WP:NOT#DEMOCRACY, however the Wikimedia Foundation elects its Trustees by democratic vote according to the Bylaws. The Wikimedia Foundation is much bigger than just Wikipedia, and with the new Bylaws, this involvement is no longer guaranteed (among other things). אמר Steve Caruso (desk/AMA) • Give Back Our Membership! 14:42, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Addition of Hindu mythology to multiple articles already in subcategories of same
It'd be polite if you would read WP:CAT, realize that we do not put articles in supercategories of categories that they are already in, and go take it back out so other editors don't have to undo your mistake. IPSOS (talk) 02:19, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
- No problem. Glad to have caught you in the act as it were so you have less to fix. Not sure how you were finding the articles and don't doubt that it might be appropriate for some, but if we did that for everything the higher level categories would be too full to be useful. [edit] WP Christianity
Hi, I saw your name on the WikiProject Christianity Membership page.
I've made some changes to the WP Christianity main project page, added several sup-project pages, created a few task forces section, and proposed several more possible changes so that we can really start making some serious progress on the project. [edit] WikiProject Age of Empires
You may have noticed that Wikiproject Age of Empires was recently classed as inactive. As you are a current member of the project, I would like to know if you are still considering participating in the project. It would also be great if you could refer some new members to the project, if you find anyone suitable for it. Thanks! ~ G1ggy! Reply 04:08, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
- So you aren't really considering working actively on it? That's ok, at least we know now. If everyone agrees with you, then inactive may be correct. Which is a shame :( ~ G1ggy! Reply 04:41, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] On the joys of bulk nominations
I see you listed a number of user subpages of User:Vergina at WP:MFD, each with its own MFD subpage. If you have many similar nominations, you can combine them into a single nomination which lists all pages. This is less work for you, less work for the deletion closer, and helps centralize discussion. —dgiestc 05:57, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] RfA
I just posted a question to your comment on Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/MZMcBride, asking if you could point out other problems that make you oppose, as in contrast to this RfA, where you didn't support on similar grounds but stated you wouldn't oppose "since there are no other problems". Made me wonder... —AldeBaer 15:28, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
- You're free to comment the way you like, I surely wasn't alleging anything "cabal". I just believe that sometimes, RfA voters (including myself!) let themselves be influenced by things of minor importance like other (!)!votes rather than valid reasons regarding a candidate's qualification. Happens in the best families, but might I say you shouldn't change your vote "in order to prevent cabal allegations", but only if and when you feel that it's the right thing to do. Best regards, —AldeBaer 18:35, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks!

Ok, so I know this looks bad as a former RfA candidate, but I noticed the lack of a "customized" signature for myself. I was wondering if you could just give me a few pointers on customization.
