[edit] Thanks
I must have missed NASA correcting themselves regarding the 1st Canadian Lead EVA. Thanks for catching that! Ariel♥Gold 04:50, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Flight After STS-125
The only documentation that can be found on the NASA web site listing launch order has STS-119 after STS-125. Unless you can produce a better reference, we have to assume that the consolidated launch manifest is correct. http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/shuttle/shuttlemissions/iss_manifest.html Dfmclean 12:21, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
Yes, that's what I was going by up until yesterday. I don't object to keeping it that way until NASA changes the consolidated manifest. My thoughts were that, well rather than just a rumor before, it now appears on a reliable media source who has obtained the dates from NASA's public affairs office.
Again I don't object though. I had 125, 119, 126, 127 etc myself until yesterday.
[edit] Thank you!
I swear, I spent a good 30 minutes trying to find any site that gave the seconds, lol. Thanks for finding it, wherever you got it from! The mission clock on NASA is in a hold, so I couldn't really tell from that the exact seconds lol. Thanks! Ariel♥Gold 23:52, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Revision history of Atlas V - edit summary question
In making this revision to the Atlas V article you asked in the edit summary:
why is there a launch box on top saying March 13 (an unofficial date) but no update in the schedule?
You may already be aware the change that modified the launch box was made to a different (template) page, {{Launching/Atlas V}}. That template is currently transcluded into four pages, including the Atlas V page. (This delay is of particular interest and deserves better Wikipedia coverage, because the reason given was that orbital debris from the destruction of USA 193 might pose a hazard! N.B. the source citation at that article.)
Keeping the Wikipedia articles on spaceflight launches up-to-date is certainly a dauntingly large task! Hopefully you agree having templates like this one is a step in the right direction? I ask because others (perhaps with less experience than you) have questioned their utility, and I'm hoping domain-experts such as yourself will rally to support them if their use is ever broadly challenged.
Anyway, thanks for your work on the Atlas V article, and all your other spaceflight-related contributions! (sdsds - talk) 00:36, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
