The middle of the article charecterizes caprylic acid as a "long chain fatty acid" by no definition I know is a 8 carbon chain a long chain acid. It is also asserted that it is difficult to absorn because of this, an 8 carbon FA should be easier to absorb that most of the fats we normally digest.
If some one can cover why this substance is antifungal and what evidence there is that it actually is, that would be appreciated.
