Talk:Capitale-Nationale

Shouldn't it be Capitale-Provinciale? --AW 18:44, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
- The term "national" (referring to the Québecois or French Canadian nationality rather than to an independent country) has been in use for many decades or even centuries in Quebec. It is not challenged even by federalist Quebeckers. Cortomaltais 22:37, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

- Late response, but as this has been discussed elsewhere recently, I'd just like to note that regardless of what anybody thinks the name of this region should be, it's not Wikipedia's role to make pronouncements about that: we use the title that reflects what the name of this region is, and the name of this region is Capitale-Nationale whether you agree with the use of Nationale in this way or not.
