[edit] Capital City Club is back. Notable?
This article has already been reviewed and deleted before. Unsure why it's being recreated, unless it's now making clear the notability of the subject. --Oscarthecat 06:15, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
- Apologies - it's clearly notable and the content is significantly improved over the original article that had been added and "speedied". I've removed the tag. Regards, --Oscarthecat 09:34, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
Thank you. Will continue to update as my research progresses. Atlanta1883 22:38, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
Article states Capital City Club, founded in 1883, is oldest private club in the South. This may not be true. Pendennis Club in Louisville, Ky was founded 1881. Is Kentucky in the South? Geographically, it may be slightly ambiguous, but psychographically, I'd say Kentuckians associate with the South more than any region. I did not modify, based on this ambiguity, but worth mentioning. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.140.198.138 (talk) 02:23, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
