[edit] POV tag

This article manifestly promotes certain political views and doesn't spare adjectives for that. Either it should carry POV tag or be NPOVified. ←Humus sapiens ну? 10:54, 26 February 2006 (UTC)

Please specify what parts of the article you think are POV.--DieWeibeRose 11:01, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
The legality of Israeli occupation of "the Palestinian West Bank" is irrelevant.
That is your opinion. However, it is relevant to Abramoff's motives in sending the defrauded funds there--to help maintain the illegal settlements there; Israelis within the Green Line do not need such 'assistance.' It is relevant to Henry Buffalo, who said "The tribe would never have given money for this." It is relevant to Abramoff's own Zionism. The Sami al-Arian article features allegations of his ties to terrorism I don't see why an article on Abramoff should not mention his ties to the violent Israeli settler movement.
"However, as Professor Juan Cole asserts..." - Cole is someone widely known for his radical anti-Israel views, but this phrase shows that the author not espouses them, but pushes them onto the reader. The whole article smells of Jewish (oh sorry, super-Zionist) conspiracy. ←Humus sapiens ну? 04:43, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
Juan Cole is a verifiable, authoritative source. His opinion in this article is presented properly and is relevant to the article's content. What do you mean by: "The whole article smells of Jewish (oh sorry, super-Zionist) conspiracy"? Are you being rude or questioning my good faith? --DieWeibeRose 05:25, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

The article links to Israeli settlement, West Bank, and intifada. Those entries discuss all of the relevant issues there. Let's work together and not rehash disputes that are already taking place in other entries. DieWeibeRose, your comment "Are you being rude or questioning my good faith?" was unnecessary.

Humus sapiens' comments are not unfounded. But then, he needs to recognize that Abramoff was engaged in a Zionist conspiracy. But I'm starting to think that repeating Isikoff's anonymously sourced "super-Zionist" quote is unproductive [1]. Doing a search on the phrase on the web ("abramoff super zionist") reveals some real ugliness. Let's all recognize the important of providing context here. --The Cunctator 14:35, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
