Anyone know if centavos still officially exist? The current set of coins doesn't include them, so it would be impossible to exchange them by hand. Tanketz 00:15, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

Check the Central Bank information, they do not say they issue centavo coins but the escudo officially is still sub-divided by them. And at 110 to the euro, inflation would have ruled out their use.Enlil Ninlil 06:10, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
