[edit] Higher?

Each cape is at sea level, by definition. Perhaps what is meant is further North? Or is this a comment on the height of the view points at the capes? Paul Beardsell 09:55, 18 Jan 2005 (UTC)

I would assume the latter, as in height of the view points above sea level. Dewet 14:16, 3 Mar 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Two currents, and southernmost point

Cape Point is not the meeting point of the two currents - this is an old myth. I've also never heard it considered as the southernmost point of Africa - even the old Dutch navigators could tell latitude? Will remove these claims for now. Greenman 12:40, 2 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Tone issues

This article is, overall, very good IMO. There are a few bits which I think could be made more encyclopedic in tone; like "over and over again ad nauseam", "if the reader will kindly excuse the term". I'll get to this when time allows, if no-one else does. — Johan the Ghost seance 16:41, 29 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Coordinates

198.174.52.14 added "The South Latitude of Cape Point should be changed to 34 21 24" at the bottom of the article. Have moved the claim to the talk page. Greenman 10:06, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
