Talk:Cape Cod Community College

I disagree with the deletion of my addition of Clif Croce to the list of notable alumni. This deletion does not assume good faith on my part.
Croce is a notable counter cultural figure on Cape Cod, primarily as a musician since 1979. Croce, as lead singer and the creative force behind Cape Cod punk band The Freeze, certainly meets Wikipedia's musician notability standards, including the volume of material published.
Cape Cod locations and culture are prominent in many of Croce's and the band's material, including their most popular songs. Their first single "I Hate Tourists" earned the band a spot in WBCN's annual band competition and the ire of many civic leaders on the Cape. "Violent Arrest" discusses an incident at Hyannis' renown (now closed) "Mill Hill Club". "American Town" discusses the options (or lack thereof) for youth in towns and ex-urban areas. In particular, Croce's work often reflects the feelings of boredom and hopelessness felt by many permanent residents of Cape Cod (so-called "year-rounders").
Also, the band's last original release ("One False Move") in 1999 featured cover artwork by notable Cape Cod artist Edward Gorey. This artwork came as a result of a Croce's and Gorey's friendship.
