Capture of HMS Macedonian

The capture of HMS Macedonian was a naval action fought near Madeira on October 25, 1812 between the frigates USS United States, commanded by Stephen Decatur, and HMS Macedonian. The American vessel won the battle, and the Macedonian was captured.
