Captain Underpants and the Terrifying Re-Turn of Tippy Tinkletrousers is the ninth epic novel in the Captain Underpants series, written and illustrated by Dav Pilkey. The book will mark the third appearance of Tippy Tinkletrousers (a.k.a. Professor Pippy P. Poopypants).
Captain Underpants and the Preposterous Plight of the Purple Potty People, Professor Tippy Tinkletrousers( Professor Pippy Poopypants) escapes from the "Piqua Citizenship Jail" to come back for revenge. The reason he does this is because at the end of the fourth book -Captain Underpants and the Perilous Plot of Professor Poopypants- the professor goes to jail for causing a catastrophe. Then George asks "Why didn't you just change your own name instead of making the world change theirs?" Pippy takes his advice and changes his name to his Grandfather's (on his mother's side). Unfortunately, "Tippy Tinkletrousers" is just as silly. In jail, the prisoners laughed and laughed for so long that the professor couldn't take it anymore. He builds the Turbo-Trousers-2000s and breaks out of jail, which probably let the other prisoners out too. He freezes two police officers because of laughing at his name. At the end of the book, Tippy Tinkletrousers trys to freeze George, Harold, Sulu, and Crackers. George and Harold once again scream, "Oh NO!" and "Here we go again!" Doctor Diaper might be in this book, because in book #4 (Captain Underpants and the Perilous Plot of Professor Poopypants) they were in the same jail together. It is said that two of the characters will die in this book. It is said this book will be somewhat gory It is also said that they will face a dinosaur war and colossal kung-fu monkeys from beyond infinity. Plus, it is said the dead cannot be revived through the use of time travel.
[edit] Tinkletrousers's Weapons
Tippy Tinkletrousers appeared at the end of the eighth book in giant robotic pants called "Turbo-Trousers 2000". A freeze gun came out of the top of the trousers to freeze the two cops that laughed at his new name. He called it the "Freezy-Beam-4000". On the last page of the eighth book, a picture of Tippy Tinkletrousers riding a Tyrannosaurus Rex chasing the main characters is seen.
