Captain 3-D
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Captain 3-D was a Harvey Comics character who first appeared in December 1953, a few years before the beginning of the Silver Age of Comic Books.
Captain 3-D was an interdimensional adventurer, who fought various foes in a specially-made 3-D comic-series, complete with provided 3-D glasses.
Three-dimensional entertainment was still new when Captain 3-D appeared, and was one of the first comic-books to be published in 3-D. As Harvey Comics fell into decline, 3-D had become too commonplace, and the character was eventually dropped.
This character was the inspiration for the Roy Thomas-created Marvel Comics character, 3-D Man. AC Comics has its own clone, Commando D.Image:Http://www.ditko.comics.org/ditko/artist/arolcp3d.jpg
