Caprino Bergamasco is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 40 km northeast of Milan and about 15 km northwest of Bergamo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,908 and an area of 8.6 km².[1]

The municipality of Caprino Bergamasco contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Sant'Antonio d'Adda, Celana, Opreno, Perlupario, Formorone, Ombria, and (Prato).

Caprino Bergamasco borders the following municipalities: Cisano Bergamasco, Palazzago, Pontida, Roncola, Torre de' Busi.
