Sunbus is the principal provider of public transportation at Rockhampton in Queensland, Australia. It will operate bus routes under the new QConnect scheme in regional Queensland as of June 2008

Sunbus operates from Parkhurst in North Rockhampton, down Allenstown in South Rockhampton. The area with the best service coverage is the highway strip along Musgrave Street in North Rockhampton.

Bus route numbers and destination information are displayed on the front of the buses. In addition, route numbers are also displayed on the side and back on most of the buses.

As QConnect is not operational in Rockhampton until June 2008, a complete list of Capricorn Sunbus routes can found at the Capricorn Sunbus section of the Sunbus website.

Sunbus operates a fleet of around 35 minibuses, medium and large sized buses. The fleet comprises a large low-floor accessible Volvo B12BLE buses with VST bodywork, manufactured by Bustech. There are many other wheelchair accessible buses in the fleet such as the Volvo B10BLE,the Mercedes O815D minibus using CB20 bodywork, manufactured by Custom Coaches, and the new Bustech MDi low-floor midibuses. Most of their non-accessible fleet are progressively being replaced with newer accessible buses.
