Caponago is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 20 km northeast of Milan. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,917 and an area of 5.0 km².[1]

Caponago borders the following municipalities: Agrate Brianza, Cambiago, Pessano con Bornago, Carugate.
