Cape Zonchio

Cape Zonchio is the name given by the Venetian cartographers to the cape between Navarino (called Zonklon or Zonchio in Venetian) and Modon on the coast of the Ionian Sea, in present-day Greece.
The naval Battle of Zonchio took place on August 25, 1499.
