The Cape Rain Frog or Giant Rain Frog (Breviceps gibbosus) is a species of frog in the Microhylidae family. It is endemic to South Africa. Its natural habitats are Mediterranean-type shrubby vegetation, pastureland, rural gardens, and urban areas. It is threatened by habitat loss.
