Cap Stubbs and Tippie

Cap Stubbs and Tippie, was an US newspaper comic strip created by the cartoonist Edwina Dunn. The strip about a boy Cap and his dog Tippie debuted in The Columbus Monitor newspaper in 1918. Soon the strip was being syndicated by the George Matthew Adams Service. Strip was about the various adventures of Cap and Tippie to the discomfort of his parents and his Grandmother Sara Bailey, who clearly doted on the boy despite the fact that his high energy and general boyishness constantly drove her to distraction.

The title of the strip was changed several times. At various times it was called Tippie & Cap Stubbs or just Tippie... The strip lasted nearly half a century, written and drawn by Edwina the whole time, and was last seen in 1966.
