CAPER (organization)

The Camara Argentina de Proveedores y Fabricantes de Equipos de Radiodifusion (CAPER) is an organization that promotes and protects the interests of radio and television broadcasters in the Republic of Argentina.

Created in 1988 as replacement of 'Camara Argentina de Industria Electronica' (CADIE). There are more than 3,000 local radio and television stations in the Argentina, serving their communities through public service, local news, entertaining programming and vital community information – such as emergency warnings, traffic information and severe weather alerts.

CAPER promotes an annual convention, (usually at spring) where it dicates conferences and provides commercial exhibition of new products wich is attended by over 8000 industry professionals, including people from near countries like Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia and Chile.
