Caos Emergente is an extreme metal festival held annually in Recarei, Paredes, Portugal since 2003. It is organized by Associação Criarei. At the beginning, Caos Emergente was a small event featuring only Portuguese bands, but it has since evolved to become a full-fledged international festival. Its fourth edition took place on September 7, September 8 and September 9, 2007, and featured Benediction, Dead Infection and Mata-Ratos as headliners.[1]
