From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Cao Jie (d. 181, traditional Chinese: 曹節; simplified Chinese: 曹节, Pinyin Caó Jié) was an eunuch of the late Han Dynasty, who served Emperor Ling of Han; he was also one of the Ten regular attendants (also known as the Ten Eunuchs), a group of court eunuchs who held great influence in the Han imperial court. Cao Jie was responsible for the death of Dou Wu and Chen Fan. He was also the (adoptive) great-grandfather of Cao Cao.
