can you please tell me whose bill is the top bill on your image "Wheres George"? I believe it might be mine —Preceding unsigned comment added by Chicago1990 (talk • contribs) 00:53, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Sileighty
Regarding your posts on the Sileighty article, I have made some changes that you may be of interest of, and I am proposing something in which you may be interested. Also, if you do not mind me asking, there was a post made by 67.177.161.13. Would that be you by any chance before you created this username?--Oni Ookami AlfadorTalk|@ 09:16, 6 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Wangan Midnight
Just thought I would let you know; you've confused Yamamoto-san and Tomoya in the characters. You've also mixed up Kazuo Ota and Gen Goto. I've had to go through and do some edits due to this; just thought you should know. SlickDizzy 02:30, 8 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Article creation
I have been looking through the list of unwatched pages (available only to administrators) and found 12-12-12. I see that you created this but were not watching it. You may want to go to your preferences and under the "editing" tab turn on "Add pages you edit to your watchlist". This will enable you to keep an eye out for any edits that are made to pages you create and help to revert vandalism. If you do decide to turn it on can you please drop me a note on my talk page so I can cut down my excessive watchlist (6000+). Thanks. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 18:36, 5 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Ford Mustang SSP
I'm not sure what the problem is. Do you have a link to a page that shows the boxes how you want them? CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 10:23, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
- OK I now see what you mean. Give me a few minutes to play with it. WHy not create User:Cantthinkofausername/sandbox to work in. I have one and you can save and see better than the preview button. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 10:27, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
- Got it. You added extra lines that wer not in the template. Look at User:CambridgeBayWeather/Sandbox to see what I came up with based on what you had. I wan't sure what the "black" was so I didn't add it. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 10:44, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
- I fixed the Template:Infobox Automobile generation. Look in User:CambridgeBayWeather/Sandbox to see how it came out. There are two extra lines color = and boxcolor =. The first is for the font and the second is of course for the background colour. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 11:12, 8 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Changes to Template:Infobox Automobile generation
CambridgeBayWeather left a note on my Talk page about changes to the above template. The whole point of the infobox is for visual consistency across articles. There is no acceptable reason to alter the infobox colors, IMO. Copy and paste the code if you don't want to abide by the template conventions, please. I have reverted this template to its previous state. ⇒ BRossow T/C 18:13, 8 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image Tagging Image:0305lapd4-vi.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:0305lapd4-vi.jpg. The image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the image qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of image pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. -- Carnildo 08:02, 10 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Eiji_Kamiya_and_Maki_Kamiya.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Eiji_Kamiya_and_Maki_Kamiya.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator.
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you have questions about copyright tagging of images, post on Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags or User talk:Carnildo/images. 11:33, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Gen_Sasaki_(Gatchan).jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Gen_Sasaki_(Gatchan).jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Unspecified source for Image:1136901782734 D50-Lockwood Todd-Transitions 134.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:1136901782734 D50-Lockwood Todd-Transitions 134.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. [edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Lavieenrose-bridge.jpg)
This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:Lavieenrose-bridge.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image can be used under a fair use license. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. howcheng {chat} 17:56, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image:CABINET.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:CABINET.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
- On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. – Quadell (talk) (random) 19:00, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:050703 cesario hlg 6phlarge.jpg
This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:050703 cesario hlg 6phlarge.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. When you use a generic fair use tag such as {{fair use}} or {{fair use in|article name}}, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MECU≈talk 20:41, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image:050703 cesario hlg 6phlarge.jpg listed for deletion
An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:050703 cesario hlg 6phlarge.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please look there to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. — MECU≈talk 18:50, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Non-free use disputed for Image:1118418304632.jpg
This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:1118418304632.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MER-C 09:26, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Ariel_Atom.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Ariel_Atom.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 09:49, 14 July 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MER-C 09:49, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Gen_Goto_Tomoya.jpg
I have tagged Image:Gen_Goto_Tomoya.jpg as {{no rationale}}, because it does not provide a fair use rationale. If you believe the image to be acceptable for fair use according to Wikipedia policy, please provide a rationale explaining as much, in accordance with the fair use rationale guideline, on the image description page. Thanks for uploading Image:SeburoMN-23.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use.
