[edit] Hi!
Good job on your RC patrolling, you've already beaten me to two reverts! --Nevhood 01:55, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Protection of Mariano Rivera
I guess it must have been my mistake for leaving it out, it is now semi-protected. Thanks. --WinHunter (talk) 02:14, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Mariano Rivera nickname warring
I would compromise keeping the Sandman nickname only. Also, I think it could mentioned in the same piece of trivia that discusses "Enter Sandman" as his entrance music (e.g. His entrance music is "Enter Sandman", which has led some people to refer to Rivera as "Sandman."). [edit] Keeping on top of things
I'm impressed with how on top of undoing vandalism you are. I've been watching out for it, and I can say, the kind of silly changes and vandalism that is done on a daily basis makes my mind boggle. It has already turned me off from trying to stay on top of it myself - and so thank goodness for folks like yourself. --Tickkid 16:54, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Edits
Anything I've edited has been because the information is already there in a more concise format and it's needlessly "americanized". 82.3.197.136 22:01, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject France
Hello! We are a group of editors working to improve the quality of France related articles. You look like someone who might be interested in joining us in the France WikiProject and so I thought I'd drop you a line and invite you! We'd love to have you in our project :-) STTW (talk) 16:18, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
- You could help us in translating articles from fr.wikipedia but that is just one of the many tasks in which you could be helpful to the project. Merci pour la réponse. STTW (talk) 21:26, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks
I see you fixed Baton Rouge, Louisiana before I got a chance to. I'm still a little shaky when it comes to reverting several bad edits in a row. NipokNek 14:26, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] User warnings have been updated
Heya, take a look over at WP:UTM. {{blank4}} is being deprecated. --Brad Beattie (talk) 02:06, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] My RfA
Thanks for your support in my RfA. I withdrew when it became clear that the uphill climb had crossed the snowball threshold, but I appreciate your support and the process gave me some good ideas for other ways I can be contributing to Wikipedia. I'll work on the areas that came up in the discussion, and try again after I've gained wider experience. -FisherQueen (Talk) 12:20, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Subst
When using certain template tags on talk pages, don't forget to substitute with text by adding subst: to the template tag. For example, use {{subst:test}} instead of {{test}}. This reduces server load and prevents accidental blanking of the template. Rettetast 15:08, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Smoking Bans (Cigarette article)
Please see my response to your post on the Cigarette talk page regarding smoking bans, and let me know what you think. Thank you! Nemilar 17:24, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] User review
Have done my review, hope it's helpful. TheOne00 19:20, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
- Glad you liked it. I can completly sympathise with being too busy- I have just finished my GCSE's. Best of luck in the future on Wikipedia. TheOne00 19:31, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] My RfA
Thank you for participating in my RfA. It was successful, and I am now, may God have mercy on us all, an administrator. Look at all the new buttons! I had heard about 'protect,' 'block user,' and 'delete,' but no one told me about 'kill,' 'eject,' and 'purée.' I appreciate the trust the community has in me, and I'll try hard not to delete the main page or block Jimbo. -FisherQueen (Talk) 17:51, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Warning 203.116.57.34
Hi, Canjth. While warning 203.116.57.34, I noticed that you had previously warned him and forgotten to sign your message. It doesn't really matter that much, but you're supposed to sign your user warnings so that vandals can post obscenities about you and personally attack you. Thanks. -- Bart133 (t) (c) 01:37, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Luis Gonzalez (outfielder)
Suggest you report Epistades and his sockpuppet IP 69.17.97.216. He won't give up pushing his edits (trust me, dealt with him at Peter Forsberg). GoodDay 19:47, 1 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Bobby Vaughn
Sorry that it's taken me over four days to reply to this. Honestly, I knew that you had made the fix, but for some reason now, at 08:47, 15 August 2007 (UTC), is the first time that I've actually thought about thanking you for fixing my mistake. If you look at User:Ksy92003/Created and here, you'll see that I've created articles for a lot of players during that time span, eighty (80) in the previous week, to be exact, and I'm actually kinda surprised that this is (I think) the only accidental error I've made. Eighty articles and one error is pretty darn good, if I say so myself... sorry, I'm getting offtrack. I thank you for catching that mistake. But if you don't mind me asking, how did you first see that I made the error? I ask because I've created ninety-nine (99) articles and only a select few have made any other edits to any of them. So, I'm just curious as to how you saw and knew that this article even existed... if you don't mind answering, could you please tell me? Thanks again for the fix... curse my quick typing skills :D Ksy92003(talk) 08:47, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Barnstar
Thank you so much for the barnstar. I really appreciate it. The 99 articles I've created are only a fraction of all that I hope to create soon. Thanks for your support. Ksy92003(talk) 02:11, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Scott Baker
Thanks for keeping an eye on the Scott Baker. Seemed like everybody was vandalizing the page.Kskk2 02:28, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Your move of Alberta articles
I have reverted your move of the Calgary, Edmonton, and Lethbridge articles to "city, province". You may not be aware of this, but the Canadian styleguide specifies that "Cities which either have unique names or are unquestionably the most significant place sharing their name can have undisambiguated titles". These three cities have all undergone debate regarding the move to disambiguate. In addition, you moved the page without any explanation or discussion. If you still want the titles to be "City, Province", please start a discussion via WP:CANTALK. --Kmsiever (talk) 16:39, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
- Agreed, and the move from Calgary, Alberta to Calgary (and the similar prior moves of Edmonton and Lethbridge) were the subject of a discussion and a consensus, and should not be reversed absent achieving a new consensus (plus an important principle outlined at WP:CANSTYLE is that "a discussion should take place on the article's talk page before a move is implemented"). There is no rule for North American placenames -- there are separate and different guidelines for the United States, Canada and Mexico. See Wikipedia:Naming conventions (settlements) for more details. Skeezix1000 (talk) 18:35, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Nevada POV tag
I don't know if you were planning to add it later, but it would be helpful if you could add a blub to the Nevada Talk page detailing what in the wording that you find POV. Thanks. Plazak (talk) 17:27, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] AfD nomination of Susan Mayer

[edit] Mussina and 300
I thought I'd invite you to put Talk:300 Win Club on your watchlist, since there's some discussion going on about it. In particular, you're not keen on Mike Mussina's chances, and I'm pretty sure he had a decent shot even if he's far from a lock. I've tried to lay out my reasoning for his inclusion --Paul Drye (talk) 15:53, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
