- Could you please tell me (via my talk page) what school you attend and provide me with a URL so that I may tag your IP address appropriately. Thanks. -- Netsnipe ► 17:27, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:BMCHScrest.gif)
Thanks for uploading Image:BMCHScrest.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 18:41, 7 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] The BMCHS Page
Ok, I'm putting this here, as he is the one who started this project, and seems to be the most organaized of all of us, as well as the best educated
- We need to get the crest accepted by wikipedia. That means, we need to have it on more than one encyclopedia page.
- I'm trying to clean up the citing so wikipedia doesn't kill our article
- Also, as for athletics, tell me what you need done and I will work on it. Here is the official site- [1]
Athletics update- I chaged the page around, and added as many teams as I could, as well removed some unporfessional stuff.
I'll post more as I think of it
--Always remember you're unique- just like everyone else (talk) 23:31, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
- Correction: to get the crest accepted by Wikipedia, you don't need to have it on more than one page. In fact, for most fair use (i.e. copyrighted) images, chances are that they can only be fairly used on one page. What you need is a good reason to use it: the official logo of a company, institution, ... is acceptable if that is a usual way of identifying the institution. You can e.g. see the fair use rationale of the Nike logo here[2]. Fram (talk) 07:51, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] requested info on changes
What do you want me to do on the Bishop page. I was thinking of adding the following, as to how he receved the name, "Hurricane Charlie":
Bishop McLaughlin had the unenviable responsibility of meeting the pastoral demands of a flock strewn over two hundred miles from end to end. So, as he was a pilot, he often flew from event to event to try to keep pace with this superhuman task, a characteristic that earned him the affectionate nickname "Hurricane Charlie."
I also want to add that it (the school's) location is in Hudson, although its adress is in Spring Hill.
Please give me feedback- I want to get these in by the end of the night

- First, do not rush the articles. Second, I see what you've done to the Bishop's article and I am only mildly impressed. I don't mean to be strict or unreasonable, but I do like to keep growing and expanding articles from doing so improperly. Thirdly, you have school tomorrow, so don't worry about it. I'll see what I can do. --CanesOL79 (talk) 03:56, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry, I live off caffine, and so am mildly hyper in all I do. Thank you for the Bishop note (I am going to take it as a complement) there was no article for him, and it was bothering me. I am planning on seperating the Diocesian aritcle into sections, and fixing it, as it is spastic currently. As for the school thing, I sleep all day anyways. --Always remember you're unique- just like everyone else (talk) 03:59, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:BMCHScrest2.gif
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:BMCHScrest2.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Polly (Parrot) 15:42, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] BMCHS Photos
I have a collection of photos of BMCHS, and would like to post them. They are as follows:
- BMCHS chapel
- photo of the EDPAC
- Photo of the media center
- Picture of the TV studio
—Preceding unsigned comment added by Wiltingflower (talk • contribs)
These images are good. However, we can't just paste them into the article. I don't believe that the article is of sufficient size to merit the inclusion of more photos. As the article gets bigger (which should be here within the next few days/weeks), we will include the pictures as per necessary. Please include the following statement into the discussion pages of each image so as to ensure that they are not immediately deleted. --CanesOL79 (talk) 16:15, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
Ok, I fixed the pages. --Always remember you're unique- just like everyone else (talk) 16:22, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Newbie question
I am fixing to write the article for plasma disc, what is the html code for "work in progress" or a marker that says not to delete this article before its finished (sunday)? Sentriclecub (talk) 03:17, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
