I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}} before the question. Again, welcome!

[edit] Revert

Please note that I have reverted two of your changes to Ginger - the first resulted in the template not displaying the thiamin value (I realize that this is a spelling error and a redirect to the actual page; if you change the wikilink on the template itself, you'll have to correct possibly thousands of individual pages on which the template is used. If you correct the spelling on the individual pages, the values are not displayed in the table; the only way to correct this is to do both, which would require thousands of laudable, but non-essetial edits). The second I reverted per WP:ENGVAR.

Thanks, in case you're interested, I've written an essay for new editors, it's lengthy but there might be some bits of interest to you. WLU (talk) 20:09, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Dallas Friday

A tag has been placed on Dallas Friday requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
