Thanks for uploading Image:OXEGEN-2005-Poster.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Hi, thanks for your reply. I left the messages where I did because I thought it would be more organized under one topic. But I can see how you could miss them and I should've realized that As for replacability of images, I think Wikipedia's policies have gotten stricter since you've uploaded many of your images, but basically, copyrighted photographs of living people are almost never accepted. The key with fair use image is the notability of the image itself, rather than what's in the image - otherwise, if a person is alive and makes public appearances, it's not considered unreasonably difficult to create a free alternative. The rules themselves haven't changed, at least not much, I think. I think they've gotten stricter about enforcing the rules. Just don't think of these dispute tags as saying you're doing something wrong - copyright is complicated -complicated enough that you can make good money as a copyright attorney- so it's normal not to know exactly what is and isn't fair use, and it's really a gray area. If you're not sure or you disagree, the best thing might be to take images to Wikipedia:Fair use review and get multiple opinions on the matter. --Mosmof (talk) 16:29, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

They were re-creations of deleted content that didn't include the full page history as required by the GFDL. I think you just copied and pasted the content before an admin had a chance to delete the page? Dunno, but it seemed pretty clear that it wasn't your work and the page history didn't indicate where it had come from. --MZMcBride (talk) 20:14, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
