Could you please write a stub about my hometown on Karachay-Balkar language here - just a few sentences based on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kur%C3%B3w ? Only 3-5 sentences enough. Please. Only you on EN wiki speak on this language.

PS. Article about Kurów is already on 171 languages. If your village/town/city hasn't on PL wiki, I can do article about it. (I'm first author of requests) Pietras1988 TALK 20:35, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Colin Kâzım-Richards

Hi CanbekEsen. I see that you recently edited the article Colin Kâzım-Richards. I was wondering if you could help me out with the article. It says that Colin Kâzım-Richards' "father is Antiguan and his mother is a Turkish Cypriot." To be eligible for the Turkish national football team, he would need a Turkish passport. Do you know if Turkish-Cypriots automatically get Turkish citizenship, or did Kâzım-Richards have to apply for it? AecisBrievenbus 20:25, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free image (Image:Can1.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Can1.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 20:16, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Non-free use disputed for Image:Sivassporlogooooo.gif

Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Sivassporlogooooo.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 11:06, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Blocked

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "I believe my block is unjustified because I believe I was not edit warring. I've been working on this page a lot lately, and users continue to remove players or add players that are rumored to have joined the club. I have not added anything unconstructive to the page or removed anything, unlike the numerous anons who have been adding false transfers or removing content (the same anons that are not blocked). I was just doing what it is Wikipedians should do at the sight of vandalism. After seeing my case at Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/3RR#User:CanbekEsen_reported_by_User:SONSAVASCI_.28Result:_36_hours.29, I've become flabbergasted. My first revert was done since the players, Mehmet Yozgatli and Rustu Recber, did not sign for Besiktas at that time. My second revert was done because the line-up can always change, and Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information. My third revert was for the same reason as the first. My fourth revert was done to remove again, unneeded information. What difference does it make if a player holds a nationality in another country in Turkey, considering Turkish clubs are only allowed six foreigners per squad. The use of the dual nationality of Turkey (as used on Wederson) is used to distiguish the fact that he holds Turkish citizenship so he is exempt from the rule. My fifth revert and sixth reverts were for the same reason as one and three. My seventh "revert" was to remove a player from the squad list that is not in the squad yet (the same player is listed in the "future arrivals" section below.) My eigth revert was to remove something that was unneeded again. This information should not be on this page, but instead on its on page at List of Turkish football transfers 2007-08. The "revert" User:SONSAVASCI uses in his report was not actually a revert. If you look at the history, you'd see I made numerous edits, and then removed the two players that were continuesly removed in reverts 1, 3, 5, 6, as these players officially moved on to clubs and they weren't just rumours. Now tell me, with all these edits from anons and users, if I'm only allowed three reverts every twenty-hours, what should I do with the edits after my three reverts? Do I just let untrue, uncited, unneeded information there so people can read it? Or do I leave it there, put it on some admin noticeboard until some admin responds (which, in that time period countless persons could've read the false information)? This three-revert rule should be looked over. UPDATE: As you can see by this edit [1], another anon added that Ronaldo joined the team. But of course it will just sit there, untouched."

Decline reason: "Clear violation of the WP:3RR here. I appreciate that you're acting in good faith, but the problem you're having is ownership: it's not up to you and only you to make sure the article stays in good shape. There are public places to post if you feel that too few established users are watching the page in general, and when there are problems with specific users, you can make a report at WP:AIV or WP:ANI if their behavior is bad enough to need blocking, and if the problem is coming from lots of new users or IP editors, you can request semi-protection at WP:RFP. If you agree to follow the 3RR I'm sure you could be unblocked, now that you know how to handle these problems better. Mangojuicetalk 21:11, 20 June 2007 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.

[edit] Turkish Football Club

I found a team stub that are in your country, so I thought that maybe can you help me with this club: Akçaabat Sebatspor, if you can, please reply me with your response... Rakuten06 14:27, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

From the looks of this site, we may need to change the page to make it look like a true football page for the fans of this club, maybe make it better so someone can remove the stub off the page. What do you think? We can work together by dividing some to-do lists for us to work on... Rakuten06 21:51, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
It sounds good for us to do and all of these stuff... Rakuten06 14:04, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
Do you have more information about this Turkish club, Sebastpor?? If not, then I will delete it off my user page since it was not completed, ok?? Rakuten06 18:20, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

The green dots are nearly invisible in this image. I would like ask for two things. First, could you please change the colors of the dots to a more visible one (black or red maybe) and could you prepare a new map for the new season too because I think this regional panorama is an interesting detail for non-Turkish people. [edit] Notability of Korean Baduk League

A tag has been placed on Korean Baduk League, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Neil Larson

[edit] I apologize

Between December 14, 2005 and June 7, 2007, I vandalized Wikipedia under my previous username (YechielMan) and under various IP addresses and alternate accounts.

I recently reviewed the contribution logs of all the accounts and IP addresses that I can recall having used. My goal was to identify all of the intentionally harmful edits I caused, and to apologize to the individual users who reverted those edits, or warned me, or blocked me.

Hence, I apologize to you and to all of the following users:

Adam Bishop, Amarkov, Antandrus, AntiVandalBot, Bdj (Badlydrawnjeff), Conk 9, CanbekEsen, DLand, Downwards, Eagle 101, Ericbronder, Gogo Dodo, High on a tree, Hut 8.5, Interiot, Jayjg, Jrwallac, Kingboyk, Kuru, Noclip, Patrick Berry, PFHLai, PhantomS, Pollinator, Rachack, Ranma9617, Rx StrangeLove, SlimVirgin, Tfrogner, TommyBoy, Vary, Woohookitty, Zzuuzz, and some anonymous IPs. (I also reverted one edit myself after it went unnoticed for three weeks.)

Thank you for maintaining the integrity of Wikipedia against everyone who has attacked it, including my old self.

If you wish to respond, please do so at my talk page.

Best regards, Shalom (HelloPeace) 19:26, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Daniel Dumile

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Daniel Dumile, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. [edit] The images you uploaded

Hi, I crossed some of your pictures, and I am concerned by the licensing tags you put on the go related ones, you seem to have GFDL-tagged images that clearly are fair use (Image:Ishida-akira.jpg for example), some are tagged as Public Domain without justification (Image:Chenyaoye.jpg) and some asserted that the image could only be used non commercially. In this state, I don't think most would pass a deletion discussion. Since I don't want to go rampant on all the go related pictures, I prefer talking to you before starting the processes. Thanks! -- lucasbfr ho ho ho 07:11, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Replaceable fair use Image:Keigo2001-11-01.jpg

Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Keigo2001-11-01.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, fair use media which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if not used in an article), per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- lucasbfr talk 11:42, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
