I'm a first-year student at the University of Waterloo, studying Computer Science. Additionally, I have academic interests in mathematics, physics and cognitive science. I am also interested in aviation, trivia, public transportation and open source software.

I was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia in 1987 and moved to North America in 2002. I have spent three years living in Canada and one year in the United States. On several occasions, I visited Germany for relatively lengthy periods of time; in particular, I lived there with my family during 1992-1994 before going to elementary school in Russia.

This summer and fall (2006) I am temporarily residing in Vancouver, BC.
