[edit] About Me
I'm Finlay Logan, currently a sophomore at Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania, where I'm planning on double majoring in Art History and plain old regular History. I'm interested in Gothic and neofolk music and culture, philosophy, German, English and Scottish folk dance and New York City, which is where I grew up.
[edit] Wikinvolvement
I have a problem with being impatient, so I've stopped pretending that I'm really "working on" anything in a long-term sort of way. I do, however, have a list of pages that I have worked on in the past and intend to return to (see below). There's also a list of pages I created, with accompanying notes. I am an expert on nothing in particular, but I think the project is worthwhile so I continue to pretend that I am a useful participant in it. I recently discovered the existence of Recent Changes, Articles for Deletion and Requests for Comment, which means that I can now spend even more time feeling useful.
I also contribute to a different, smaller wiki, which exists in another galaxy far, far away. Consider yourselves lucky.
[edit] Writing style
For the record, I almost always use "he/him" as my default singular pronoun, and "man" to indicate humankind. I do not care that this is not politically correct. It doesn't come up terribly often, but it's still a point of interest. (Also for the record, I'm female.)
[edit] Projects
- I recently decided to join the NYC WikiProject, since I'm a native an' all.
- I've also put up a proposal for a WikiProject dedicated to improving articles about medieval women (I swear it's the hot topic in scholarship!). Go ahead and add your name to the list of members if you'd like to help.
- My newest plan is to start a project to improve bibliographies site-wide. This could be very exciting, not to mention easy for anyone with any experience editing. :)

These are mostly here so that I can find them again, but feel free to contribute as well!
[edit] Where To Find Me
I enjoy people-watching and passing late nights in diners.
If you are, for some reason, interested in learning more about me, my Livejournal can be found here.
