[edit] Birth name

I have Candy Ilze as her birth name. Where does Candee 'J' come from ? Whilst I presume - 1 September 1981 - as her date of birth is correct ?

theres a possibility that its from "DJ", only noticed this because Keith on Highland Radio always pronounces the name as "Can DJ" - although that could be the donegal accent more than anything... --Kiand 00:21, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
I believe that she stated in her about.com interview that she 'used to bring loads of candy to the studio sessions' and that 'Candee' paired with 'Jay' 'has the word "deejay" in it, which refers to her producers who are also deejays.'Anomal-E 13:03, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

I removed the last part of the carrier since it was wrong, back in love is signed and the pronti and kalmani remix is an old remix, released together with vinyl from the old days when alice deejay was called dj jurgen. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.166.5.125 (talk) 10:54, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
