Parts of this article read like a dog care bog. 24.247.222.255 01:51, 18 November 2006 (UTC)


The 2nd picture shows a group of Huskies, not Canadian Eskimo Dogs. I changed the caption to read "This is a picture of Huskies", since I don't know how to upload a pic of the correct breed. Someone reverted my change. Better to delet the photo than to have it show the wrong breed of dog. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.143.201.77 (talk) 01:17, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

The image was merely incorrectly labelled, but if you read Ansgar Walk's photo description correctly, it says English: "Canadian Inuit Dog" (Canis familiaris borealis), official Animal of Nunavut. In addition to this, you also have to realize that the term 'Husky' or 'Exquimaux Husky' has also been used to refer to this specific breed of dog in the past (it's a general term, which doesn't refer to any specific species.
