I don't know whether public tours are still available at this time. I've been on two tours, one in the summer of 1996 and again in 2003; both times the tours concentrated mostly on television ("everyone sit in front of Peter's desk") with very little coverage of the technical and radio areas of the building. Last time we were arranging the tour, there was some question as to whether there would be sufficient staffing in the audience relations department to conduct it. Besides our group of about a dozen geeks, there were a handful of other people (all Canadians except for us), so it seems likely that they may still be willing to give tours if enough people sign up in advance. There should probably be a link here to CBC Audience Relations but I'm too tired to look it up. 18.26.0.18 04:59, 20 Apr 2005 (UTC)
