Vietnamese uses Latin characters (with diacritics), so ‘Cần Thơ Bridge’ is perfectly within the rules of Wikipedia:Naming conventions (use English). See for example the article ‘phở’. – Kaihsu 19:11, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

Should the article "Vietnam" be changed to "Việt Nam"? The consensus of these cities and providences is that they are written in English. If you would like to make a case, I suggest you head to the Vietnam WikiProject and gather consensus for such a move. — Moe ε 19:44, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

Vietnam is the English name for Việt Nam, like Vienna for Wien and Finland for Suomi. We don't have an official English name for Cần Thơ Bridge, so the diacritics should be retained. IT'S DA...Ανέκδοτο 03:25, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
We don't? So why is every city and providence in Vietnam listed on Template:Subdivisions of Vietnam shown in an English name (including the city of Can Tho)? — Moe ε 15:56, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
