{{subst:NPOV/auto}} A Cantonese-ism is a usage feature or lexeme (word) found in any non-Cantonese language that is derived from or influenced by Cantonese. Such influences can be found in Mandarin with Cantonese expressions or syntax, English with Cantonese expressions of syntax, or other languages. Cantonese-isms are typical in Hong Kong English, as Cantonese is the native language of much of Hong Kong's population.
